I'm so very sorry for your loss. Our furbabies are as much family to us
as our human kin, aren't they? He was a lucky guy to have found such a
good and loving family.
Brighteyes was quite a handsome fellow, wasn't he? In the picture, he
has a rather noble expression that reminds me a bit of my cat Lord
Greyfluffy. (He's just a beat-up old grey tomcat, frayed ears and
missing some toes, that showed up one day, moved in, and took over. But
he "adopted" my husband when he was very ill; then, after Paul died, he
adopted our little elderly dog; and after _she_ died, he adopted me--so
I suppose I ought to be worried...)
There's not really a lot I believe in, but I *know* that our furfolk kin
are waiting for us...somewhere...at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge.
