BTW, until recently, there was absolutely *** nothing *** on the web about 
Phong, who died at 33 from leukemia right after inventing the shading 
method. Being called either Phong Bui Tuong or Bui Tuong Phong didn't help 
researching his name either.

Fortunately, last year someone interviewed his teacher and friends at 
Standford and put the material in Wikipedia, and now the article is tagged 
for lacking sources and being Original Research :(
