a) upgrade to XP.

b) failing that, wait a bit until I release a version of POVWIN beta 3.7
   that uses installshield (rather than the ancient installer we have now)
   and furthermore is modified to avoid use of the traditional INI file.

c) once that is done and seen to work, I will probably back-port those
   changes to 3.6.
