Why does everybody think this is an anti-M$ rant? I said the same thing
about OO...

I guess I was actually expecting that it's not possible, but I thought
somebody might know of a package that does it. (Somebody else already
meantioned LyX, which is cute is a little fiddly.)
Perhaps the root problem here is that the octet sequence ultimately sent
by my newsreader isn't a fantastically accurate reflection of my
intended meaning...

It might shock you to know that I have on occasion attempted to use
Word's so-called "help" system. Sometimes it gives you useful
information, often it doesn't. And sometimes you just hunt for hours
looking for a crucial snippet of information, and never find it. It
depends...
(I am convinced that I cannot possibly be alone in hating that retched
paperclip though!)
