Hi Zog,

I don't know whether it's possible to do what you ask, but I'd recommend
against it, even if it is. IMO it would be far easier to set up a newsgroup
reader such as the one that comes with Outlook Express. This gives you a lot
more control over monitoring conversations (threads), so you can mark a
thread as being of particular interest to you as well as being able to block
any threads that you're getting a little sick of seeing. It automatically
groups together messages under the relevant thread, enabling you to rapidly
go back through and look at the previous messages, which is particularly
useful if the respondent doesn't include the full chain of messages and your
grey cells aren't up to remembering who said what.

By contrast, if you are able to send newsgroup items to your email then it
could make your email a bit difficult to handle, so a popular thread could
generate 20 or 30 responses which could arrive at your email account out of
sequence and potentially interspersed with other emails.

There are step by step instructions on setting up Outlook Express at
http://www.povray.org/resources/newsgroups/oetut.php
If you are concerned about the connection time, you can mark certain
newsgroups for reading offline, which is good to help minimise the time
connected for dialup connections. Search for 'Reading News Offline' on the
OE Tutorial page.

Hope this helps,
Chris B.
