I had to comment on this.  It looks like it's coming along pretty well.  The 
wood doesn't look quite right yet, though.

Way back in 2003, I my "Radio Graves" picture for the IRTC.  Feel freel free 
to scavenge anything that you might like

isn't pretty as it was one of my first major efforts with POV-Ray, but I was 
pretty happy with the wood veneer textures at the time.
