It's a good idea to run something like
Ccleaner to fix registry stuff once in a while.

You might want to try a memory diagnostic, it
may be hardware,

but I'd suspect a driver, maybe run windows update.
or run sfc /scannow to check for corrupt system
files (if you have the windows CD).
