It helps...But POV comes with a lots of examples that you can play with.
When I first started with POV I treated it as an adventure game. I'd
take an example and ask 'Why does this work?'. I'd change some thing.
And see what happen. Some times it would crash (I'd die) and some time
it work. I'd use what little bit of knowelge I gained to attack another
example. When I'v conquered one example I'd move on. When I've got tired
of the fight I'd stop and play using the knowelege I've gained.
The main thing is to have fun!
