At .off-topic, I told about the cross I was rendering. Ok, there's a
little load on my workstation (continously rendering 2 other scenes
atm), but still, this was _slow_:

  Parse Time:    0 hours  0 minutes  1 seconds (1 seconds)
  Photon Time:   0 hours  0 minutes  0 seconds (0 seconds)
  Render Time:  26 hours 53 minutes 39 seconds (96819 seconds)
  Total Time:   26 hours 53 minutes 40 seconds (96820 seconds)

The cross is bozo'd glass with rounded edges. For light there's 3
different coloured area spots in just a little differential angle. And,
of course, the bottom plane is reflective. Not to forget radiosity.
Naturally, scene this simple is (and shall remain) pure CSG.
