I think it enjoys, even celebrates the taste for clean, simple, geometry
which characterized both the minimalism movement and its various
precursors. Somewhere back in the late 60's/early 70's, someone, I
think it was Smithson, wrote an essay describing examples of
architecture that were termed, "Ultramoderne".
