Hi all!
My creative juices are pretty tied up at the University, where I'm modelling
in Maya (soon to go to rigging phase), programming in C++, OpenGL and
OpenInventor (soon to go to a self-chosen task, e.g. a small board-game or
such) and a radio play (currently working on a story)...
Nontheless, I love to doodle around with Silo every now and then and this is
what I decided to model a few days ago. Modelling didn't take that long, but
rendering did. Required lots of passes to get the scattering right, and then
I needed to make use of lightgroups to have the candle actually cast light
onto the plane. Playing a little with negative lightsources to get the
proper shadow.
Anyways, I'm stuck at the moment and don't know what to add or change, but
I'll just take my time with it. Wanted to show it here even though it'll
probably take a few weeks to get completed. :-)
