I know, I'm swamping this group with rotation-animations of objects, but it
has got pretty quiet in here lately, so I thought I'd just throw a few WIP
and experiments in to get the attention for this group and hope that others
will follow and show what they've been up to. :-)

Anyways, a quick 2 hour modelling session just to experiment. I've got a
replica of a skull in my room, and I used it as visual reference. If I look
at the final product, I can clearly see that I've chosen something *far
away* of my current capabilities, but you got to set high goals to get
somewhere! :-)

I think I'll be modelling some more in the next few days to get to know the
tools and acquire some experience. I've tested the current Wings just for
the modelling (the current version doesn't have a working direct export to
POV-Ray, but I can go via Poseray), but I personally find Silo more
intuitive for me. Sure, 3D modelling is a whole new area which I need to
learn, so my expectations for current models isn't high. Oh, and I installed
Blender, but as I couldn't find the modelling section/button/whatever within
5 minutes of various clicking and skipping *and* found the entire GUI to be
utterly confusing (my personal taste, I don't mind people who can use it or
even find it great ;-), I've ruled that one out pretty much straight away.

I'll have another go or two at Wings in the next few days to see how good I
can work with that.

Regards,
Tim
