Hi:

Probably it is not true for every one, but I am very fond of military 
hardware topics. I can see, that the modeling is probably done in CSG, 
right? Have you ever tried Wings3D? It would be much easier to make some 
parts in Wings. Anyways, nice modeling so far. Are you going to make some 
smoke or show spent cartridge cases littering the gun base? I really like 
the muzzle blast effect, how did you obtain such dramatic effect?
Also I think that darkening the whole scene a bit and increasing, at the 
same time, that orange/reddish lighting from the muzzle blast, would add 
some dramatic effect to the whole scene. Of course it is worth to try once 
the whole project is ready, so as not to show the whole machinery in detail.

I am looking forward for the next progress pics
