Hi all.
Well, after more tan a year waiting for a new
Hamapatch version, finally is out, so I took
my time to test it, and it's really wonderful
You can do your models with bicubic patches, but
you can also transform those patches into meshes,
try different levels of subsivision, smothness, and
finally the bicubic patch acts as a cage for the mesh
so you can keep editing it easily. It seems like UV mapping
is also on the list, but I still don't know how it works.
Anyway, to try it I did a gear (like the KDE one).
This is the result after some loops.
It's just a WIP, so texturing it's still for testing.
Tools used: Hamapatch, QTPoveditor and Gwenview.
Hope you like it.
Bye
