Hey, thanks Andrew.
Yeah, I guess I do most enjoy fractals that show detail on many
different levels. This one, for example, necessitated showing all of
the levels of recursion up to the highest in order to get the Cantor's
dust effect. It would've been boring with just one. Many recursive
fractals, such as a menger sponge or sierpinski gasket can only work
that way, because of overlap...I wonder what other ones could be
modified in the way I found? Maybe those two could be done with some
transparency? This one does have transmission, and a glassy texture,
yet it has the IOR of water. I think that's what causes the cool color
blending.
