Here's a render of some weapons of mass distraction, err., destruction.
This is how I imagine a stockpile in somebody's basement might look....
although it could use some dust and cobwebs for it to really look like a
house's basement. The rocket design is completely fictitious.
The file was written a couple months ago, but the radiosity settings
were slower than I could deal with. I can't leave my computer on to
render while I go away to take care of things.... we have a faulty power
grid.
Today I fixed it by making the light coming from the door an area_light,
not just a bright panel. This way the radiosity's recursion_limit could
be set back down to 1. The result rendered in under ten minutes.
