planetGenesis is a heightfield and displaced mesh generator
written in Java. It produces 16bit Greyscale PNG's and meshes in
and wavefront obj format.

Hopefully 0.9 will be the last beta release so bug reports
are important.

Requirements depend on how big a mesh / PNG you generate normal memory,
but the windows test box (win2000 256Mb) can create a 16000x16000 pixel
PNG without straining. It weights in at a might 170k.

You'll need Java 1.4.x, it works on MacOSX, win2000 and XP. It should
work on Linux too, but I haven't tried.
