I've used it on at least two different XP machines, and I haven't noticed
this problem.  I've actually used it on perhaps 4 or 5 XP machines to a very
limited degree.

The only time I've noticed a problem is when my Outlook is receiving email
(which kills everything).

I know this doesn't necessarily help, but there must be something different
from my XP setup and yours.  If you come up with some specific settings
you'd like to compare, I wouldn't mind doing that.
