Have just seen that you also have an isosurface in it.
Did you also tried to create it with it? Like Mike
managed to get his mesh:

Someone made a basket with the code of Mike (don't
know where to find it in the newsgroups, but it was there),
maybe you can ask around because it could be of help for
you to make your mesh spherical.
Or ask around in p.a-u.
