yep, approaching from the distance between the harvester
and the 'thopter, with static electric lightening bolts!

Thanks.  The feet are my own elaboration to emphasize the wings, there's
actually very little description of ornithopters beyond them having
bird-like wings that flap, and thrusters, which I've so far omitted.

Yes, the spice dust is poor, maybe just reducing the density will
help. I wouldn't have posted the picture at such an incomplete stage
except I was starting to get despondant and needed a bit of
encouragement :-).
Dirt and damage to be added to all the hardware.

Other stuff to do: The 'thopter's underbelly opening a ramp, figures
running (difficult, but kept very small), more details on the crawler,
spotters in the distant sky, additional diffuse sand dust in the
foreground, probably more.
