What you do won't get you anywhere because the text format also needs to be
UTF-8, and you cannot get that with the built-in POV-Ray editors.  On
Windows 2000 and XP the editor that comes with the system should support
saving files in UTF-8 format. Alternatively, you can enter the Unicode
character code directly using the \u option.
