Here's a question:

What to you get if you put 45,000 slightly different coloured box{} objects
together?

Answer: see the attached image!

"Can you tell what it is yet?"

Well, actually it's a still frame out of an animation I'm building. (I might
even post it [a] if I ever get it finished and [b] if I can find a way to
shrink it down from 82MB!!)

(Am I out of my tiny little scull? There's probably a way to do this a hight
field or something - but I don't know how such things work. Also not sure it
would let me have the big whole through the middle. And don't those things
work on triangles anyway??)

Personally I'm quite chuffed with the scene file; it's 100% pure POV-Ray.
When you render the animation, on frame 1 POV-Ray sits there producing the
fractal. On each subsequent frame it merely reads back the data it dumped
out - all 2.5MB of text. <gasp> It actually takes a while to do that funnily
enough... LOL... Oh, and setting up the vister buffers, etc is now so slow
that you can actually _read_ the messages as they appear on the screen. Heh.

Anyway, if I ever figure out the math of the animation bit, I'll maybe get
this shorted tonight!!

Enjoy.
Andrew.

PS. I'm trying to animate some "particles" flying through the whole in the
middle. Because I can. (er - or rather, because I *thought* I could... oh
dear...)
