That is the best grass i've ever seen done with pov! Add weeds, fallen
leaves and more dead grass and it could be from my garden:)
I've also made some tests with Gilles Tran's makegrass macro using multiple
layers of grass.
My goal was to make natural forest scene (long grass, weeds etc.) using
makegrass and
maketree macros.
I never finished the project because my computer ran out of memory after few
trees
(At the time i had only 32 mb of ram).
If I remember correctly both images have 3 layers of grass each layer has
different width, height and color . First image is a part of the original
forest scene. To the second closeup I've tried to add some broad leaved
plants (with bad success as you can see) and randomly scattered leaves.
