It could be that the blob primitive isn't going to go well for this, I'm not
certain. The problem seems to be that the blob as a whole lacks a texture
but in checking this out I see that the individual texturing isn't being
retained anyhow. Or at least I think it isn't from the looks of the render I
get.
So basically I don't have any answers for you, only my observation.
