  Hmm, the pari/gp-library says:

"PARI/GP is free software, covered by the GNU General Public License, and 
comes WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY WHATSOEVER."

  The GPL license on the other hand says:

"If the Program does not specify a version number of this License, you
may choose any version ever published by the Free Software Foundation."
