I like it! :)
They've done sci-fi before, but I think most of the current IRTC entrants
weren't making images back then (including me), so it would be great to see what
current povvers produce for that topic. Plus the technology has improved so much
since then, with radiosity, iso surfaces, functions, and more than 10 times the
CPU power!
I particularly like the "before CG" bit, that would make a nice change from the
current sci-fi influences that are around. There'd be some great entries with
flying saucers on strings in an Ed Wood style!
...though the fact that I've just come up with a nice space ship (posted to
p.b.i) might mean I'm a bit biased ;)
