100% agree, but I was far from insisting that the page posted is final.
The only wish was to discuss this and possibly find the appropriate
solution,
or get a conclusion that no, we don't need this, this is too complicated,
too platform dependent etc.
  You can check the other version, posted to povray.beta-test.binaries
It still possibly need some changes to satisfy different browsers,
but at least text copied from it works the same as in real docs.


P.S. Btw, even the original file Raytracer.pov does not work with current
beta,
the last line
 camera { location -z*2 look_at 0 orthographic }
causes an error and should be camera {orthographic  location -z*2 look_at
0 }
