Hello,

I am trying to solve a set of problems that involve the reduction of CAD
data sts by eliminating interior data.  For example, 3D file of a office
building might contain a large fraction of data on the interior of the
building that is not necessary in order to render or otherwise work with the
exterior of the envelope.  I was hoping that somone might know of tools or
have seen ray tracing used to "supersample" the exterior of a model in order
to create a new data set that just contains an exterior shell.
