It doesn't really give any reason. It just seemed not logical to take out
something that worked quite well and replace it with something that has a
lot more feature but can't do the same thing. I haven't seen any 3.1g update
of Jonathan's 'great balls of fire' for instance.
So I just assumed it should be easier to have them both.
