Likewise.
Without a beginning there is nothing and the name David K. Buck is certainly
immortalized as the start of POV-Ray Trace.
It's been a great 8 years for me.
The changes have been no less than incredible since my first sight of version
2.0 (I even used v. 1.0 a few times) watching a low res. render placing pixel
by pixel onto a screen.  If there's one constant in POV it would be growth and
the many people using it.  That was evidenced at CompuServe back in the early
1990's.
