Unfortunately triangles have no definite inside/outside when it comes to CSG.
Using MegaPov you have a choice of making a "solid triangle mesh" as stated in
section 5.3 of the documentation.  It needs to be a "mesh" though, not a union
of triangles. And they have to completely close, having no openings.  Well,
almost always.
