Yes, that may be a possible solution.
- But I'm not familiar with POV-fog at all...

In the "Toroidal iso-noise" image I tried
to make the background darker by using a
fading main light source.

I wonder how radiosity will look like with
all those "columns" blocking the light.

I'm afraid that the light won't "reach" very
far away from the light source.

What do you think about that Christoph ?

And where would be a good place to put the
light source ?

(In the scene posted I used no_shadow for
the iso-surface.)
