Aha! I finally see the reason for not providing the source to the 3.5 
betas! Duh! That makes perfect sense. I'd ultimately like to compile it 
from source on my Linux box because I can optimize it for my CPU, etc. 
The result renders POV scene files much faster than the provided 
binaries (for Windows and Linux). But I'll gratefully accept Linux (i86) 
binaries for the betas in the mean time :)
