I agree that it would be nice to hear more about others' designing
techniques, but it's quite difficult to write about it, especially the
artistic aspects.  'Making of' texts are often very interesting, but they
are quite a lot of work.  

I also usually prefer writing about a scene to posting the complete source
code, because the individual concept of a scene is something that should
not be copied IMO.
