The Autocad guys probably changed the dxf format, again. You could
try having your friend resave the .dwg file as an earlier version
such as r14 then export to dxf and see if that works. If it doesn't
you may try using 3DWin which is newer than crossroads. I have r14
and have never had any problems with the dxf export but I have no
idea how Acad 2000 operates or if saving to an earlier version will
effect the dxf export type. It's worth at try anyway. Another
possiblity would be to resave the .dwg file to r14 and then find
someone with r14 to export to .dxf. A little round about but it
should work.
