Yikes, sorry, once again assuming that mega 0.5 without any version
statements==3.1g, which I guess is not true.

3.1g DOES accept:
     #declare aaa=0.1*0.1+<1,1,1>;

which is imho counterintuitive and I'd prefer here an error message, but
perhaps its standard math . . .
