Yes I agree.
Some people in these newsgroups have tried to
convince me to use MegaPov since April (I think).
Two months ago the temptation had grown so great
that I installed it.
And one month ago I "discovered" iso-surfaces.
Now I (almost) admit that I regret that I did
not install MegaPov earlier. ;)

I don't remember the stats, but I see now that
the large one with the wrinkles renders at about
18 pixels per second (at my 100MHz Pentium).
1024 x 768 / 3600 = 218.5 218.5/18 = 12.1
(So by this calculation it takes about 12 hours
to render.)
