If you want to do serious air-cooling of your system (with a tower or
mini-tower):
1) Remove the case
2) Purchase an 18 inch industrial exhaust fan and an 18x24 or 18x36 inch
furnace filter.
3) Place the exhaust fan on the side of your case away from the motherboard,
set to blow air outward.
4) Wrap the filter around the other sides of your box and duct-tape in place
5) Turn the fan on "high"

Note: If you regularly dust your system, the furnace filter can be
eliminated.
