	See my post in the next thread ("Building MPEG").
	TMPGEnc is not only a very good encoder, it can also merge
MPEG files, mux/demux them, and all is fast and free (windows platform).
	DO NOT CONVERT TO AVI or anything else just to merge MPG files !
