Maybe because most people here prefer making nice images instead of
programming bots? :-)

You might not get a lot of competition, as I'm not under the impression that
others are planning to programs bots too. But there still is the sample bots
I made myself...

Actually, I must admit that I have kind of dropped the PushBall project. The
game just seemed to limited, and it seemed too complicated to code useful
bots. As you mentioned, it wasn't very successful in these groups either.

After having dropped PushBall, I began creating another game called Missile
Bots, but this also had some problems. While the game itself is probably
fine, the problem is that the resulting animations would get too big. A
single Missile Bot match would take up 3 to 5 megabytes, and I'm not sure if
people are interested enough in such a game to download *that* big
animations. After all, it's not anything amazing like IRTC winner
animations. It's just a way to presents a computer-game match.

So I'm sorry if I have disappointed you, but it seems like these POV-Ray
games maybe aren't such a good idea after all.

Greetings,

Rune
