No, I didn't. now I get good effects, but ist is quite difficult to tweak
them to look convincing or at least somewhat good. Lot's of try and error.
I use now a disc for this purpose, because my previous cone reflected parts
of the scene at the edges - thta's the effect you get when you look over a
hot street, isn't it? But the disc works well, even if it is not as flexible
and it has to be oriented to the camera. Doesn't matter since I don't plan
to make a animation anyway.
