From the 29th of June to the 2nd of July a european Linux convention
will take place in Stuttgart (Germany) under patronage of the german
minister of trade.
The event -- called Linuxtag (Linuxday)
http://www2.linuxtag.de/2000/english/index.php3
will be also presenting free software projects like gimp, gnome, KDE ...
I have been asked if I am willing to man a booth in the free software
pavillion that presents the use of POVRAY under Linux (or FreeBsd,
Minix).
I still don't know if I am able to attend the full four days so I'm
looking for POVRAY users willing to help to run the booth with me.
Knowledge of POVRAY is important, knowledge of LINUX is secondary.
I'm not sure how international the event will be so I fear some
knowledge of the german language would be required but I would clear
that point with the organization team.
They are going to provide a sleeping space like a gym where all the
people from the Free-Software-Pavillion can sleep.
The whole thing will take place in a huge convention center not far
(~10 by subway) from the center of Stuttgart.
Anyone interested should contact me.
