Well, this is only if you don't want to run the program at full-screen.
Of course there might be some situations where you don't want to run a
modeller program at full-screen size, but I think they are quite rare.

How are DOS graphics worse than windows graphics? I think that the
graphics card, resolution, color depth, etc. are the same (of course
assuming that the program supports any graphics mode, which it should).
The only disadvantage I see in a DOS program is that it can't communicate
with other programs nor use the windows clipboard.
