If you simply ran the sample file without having
changed anything, you couldn't have done anything wrong.

I don't know what causes the problem, and I can't
reproduce it myself. :-(

Which version and system of POV-Ray are you using?
(Though, I don't know what difference it should make.)

Have anybody else had the same problem?
