Okay working on the snag i mentioned earlier i was able to get a fairly
close behavior to how it should be, (made Simulate_Media and
do_fog return total amount of energy let through) But do
to limitations in the color model its not perfect. I Originally
wanted to do it as pigments to do something like holovase
(check binaries.images later tonight as its currently rendering)
So I'll keep that.. but to get the limited depth to interact correctly
with atmosphere I plan to implement the effect as an interior
and I'll call that Portal. Before I do that I'll put together docs
, a camerapigment macro to use with this and a demo scene then ship
them and the code to Nathan.
