Another, slightly outdated book in the same sense is Mark Fabi's book
"Wyrm"

Starts in early 99 and goes on until the great end of the world
spectacle y2k. basically its the gigant virus that infects all computers
running the huge os MACROS 2k from the sloppy software manufacturer
*grin* well, it's sentinent, and.. woe, religious. plans it's own
suicide on y2k ... big bug for the world ;)

Actually, the book is really good, and this "review" is mostly a cynical
joke from my part :)
