There are two driving reasons why the POV-Team will offer a port for a
particular platform. One is popularity of the platform and the second
is having a POV-Team member who has that platform available to work on.
If there is no one on the POV-Team the has OS 2 set up on their system
they have no way to compile and test for that platform and cannot support
it. They will not link to unofficial compiles like the one you listed
because they have no way of offering support for unofficial compiles of
the program. As the maintainer of the links pages for the POV-Team I
do try to keep up with unofficial ports of the program and I will place
a link on the links pages to any that people let me know about. That is
about the only kind of linking to unofficial versions that you can
expect from the team.
