    Oh, I totally agree, and I don't know all the details (only what's in
the POV legal doc), but, as Future are one of the biggest publishing houses
over here and produce some of the best selling computer magazines in the UK,
you've got to ask yourself just how many potential POV users in the UK have
never even heard of it because of this. I guess we'll never know the answer
to that one.

    Actually I'd say that Future were probably very helpful with those that
got in touch with them directly - they're pretty good on that front, from
what I can tell (no first hand experience, though). But, I can imagine all
the extra work it would have generated for Chris.

    Also - I first came across POV on the cover of PC-Format and I don't
recall having any problems using it - from memory, no it wasn't a complete
distribution, but there was enough there to get going and, IIRC, they ran a
POV workshop/tutorial thing around the same time.
