FWIW, I agree that the figure as an important part of the message ought to
be inline.
Especially for line drawing like this, which should be a =lot= smaller than
the actual JPEG. A bilevel PNG would have been much smaller, followed by
2-color GIF.

I think it's funny that the format of his posting got all the attention,
rather than the -subject-. So how many corks do fit in the box?
