If you use 3DWin to convert from Poser 3ds to pov there is a menu item
in 3DWin where you can view each mesh object extents. I guess it would
depend on how many different mesh pieces there are as to how much benefit
you will get from this information. Personally I think I would just go
with starting from scratch and using CSG operations but that is up to
you to decide.
